Privacy policy
Panhandle Storm Help is a free service run by Foundry Peak LLC. This page explains what we keep, why, and for how long.
The short version
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for commercial purposes. There are no ads and no advertising trackers on this site. We keep a small amount of information only to run the service, keep it safe from abuse, and fix problems, and we delete it on a schedule.
What we keep
Texts to the line: your phone number, the messages you send, and our replies. We also remember the county you picked so replies show local listings first.
Calls to the line: your phone number and the menu choices you press. If you ask a question out loud, the recording is turned into text and then deleted right away. We keep the text of the question and the answer.
Chat questions on the website: the question, the answer, and your internet (IP) address, which we use to limit abuse. The chat conversation itself stays in your browser and clears when you close the tab.
Shared resources: the listing details you send, plus your name, phone, and optional email so a volunteer can confirm it. Your contact details are only seen by our volunteers and are never published.
Email updates: if you subscribe, your email address and county, kept only until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing deletes them.
Problem reports: what you report and, if you choose to give it, a phone or email for follow-up.
How long we keep it
Text logs, call logs, and chat questions are deleted after 30 days. Contact details from shared resources are deleted 30 days after the listing ends, or 30 days after we decline it. Contact details on problem reports are deleted after 30 days. The public listings themselves stay up until they end or we take them down.
Who sees it
Only the people who run the service. We use a few service providers to operate it: Cloudflare (hosting, database, email delivery, and the automated assistant), and Twilio (phone calls and text messages). They process information only to provide those services to us. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We set one small cookie to remember the county you picked, and volunteers have a login cookie. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Children
The service is meant for adults looking for recovery help. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
Reply STOP to stop text messages. To ask us to delete information tied to your phone number sooner, email info@foundrypeak.com.
