Panhandle Storm Help (panhandlestorm.com and the phone and text line (850) 898-1741) is a free community service run by Foundry Peak LLC to help people find hurricane recovery resources in Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties, Florida. By using it, you agree to these terms.
In an emergency, call 911
This is not an emergency service. We do not dispatch help and we do not monitor messages in real time. If anyone is hurt, trapped, or in danger, call 911.
No guarantee of accuracy
Information after a storm changes by the hour. We collect listings from government agencies, utilities, nonprofits, and members of the public, and we check them on a regular schedule, but we do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete, current, or available. Sites close, run out of supplies, and change hours without notice. Always call ahead or confirm with the official source before you travel.
The "Last verified" time on a listing shows when we last confirmed it against its source. It is not a promise that the listing is still correct.
Automated answers
The chat, text, and phone assistant uses automated software to answer questions from the listings on this site. It can make mistakes. Its answers are not legal, medical, financial, or insurance advice. For those, contact the professional or agency named in the listing.
Community posts
Listings marked Community post were shared by members of the public and reviewed by a volunteer. They are not official, and we do not endorse or vouch for the people or groups offering them. When you share a resource, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. We may edit, decline, or remove any post at any time.
Fair use
Do not use the service to post false, misleading, commercial, or harmful information, to harass anyone, or to overload or disrupt the service. We may limit or block use that does.
Third-party sites and services
Listings link to and name other organizations. We are not responsible for their content, services, or decisions, including any decision about aid, claims, or eligibility.
No warranty, limited liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Foundry Peak LLC and the volunteers who help run this service are not liable for any loss or harm that comes from using it or relying on it.
Text messages
When you text the line, you get automated replies to the messages you send. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop messages, or HELP for help.
Changes and contact
